Description
USM Masons Lime Type S is an ASTM C-207, C-206 lime that can be mixed with Portland cement and masons sand to make an ASTM C-270 mortar.  Masons Lime Type S provides excellent plasticity and bond properties which allow the joint to be tooled easily and efficiently.  This ease of tooling also creates a denser mortar joint that is less susceptible to water intrusion and cracking.
