Description
USM Type M Masons Mix is a blend of masonry sand, type S lime, and portland cement blended to meet ASTM C-270 specifications for type M mortar. Type M Masons Mix is for use where a high compressive strength is required. Type M mortars are usually specified for underground applications, or where abnormal circumstances are present. Because of it’s higher portland cement content, Type M Masons Mix is recommended only for the professional mason.
